Switch worldwide sales top 125.62 million, Fire Emblem Engage tops 1.61 million


Nintendo Switch has sold 125.62 million units worldwide as of March 31, 2023, Nintendo announced in its latest earnings release.

A total of 3.07 million Switch hardware and 41.85 million software were sold during the three months ended March 31, 2023.

Nintendo also shared updated sales numbers for its first-party Switch titles.

The 10 best-selling first-party Switch titles are:

  1. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – 53.79 million
  2. Animal Crossing: New Horizons – 42.21 million
  3. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – 31.09 million
  4. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – 29.81 million
  5. Pokemon Sword / Pokemon Shield – 25.82 million
  6. Super Mario Odyssey – 25.76 million
  7. Pokemon Scarlet / Pokemon Violet – 22.10 million
  8. Super Mario Party – 19.14 million
  9. New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe – 15.41 million
  10. Ring Fit Adventure – 15.38 million

Nintendo also announced the following additional sales numbers:

  1. Pokemon Legends: Arceus – 14.83 million
  2. Luigi’s Mansion 3 – 12.82 million
  3. Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury – 11.38 million
  4. Splatoon 3 – 10.67 million
  5. Mario Party Superstars – 10.17 million
  6. Nintendo Switch Sports – 9.60 million
  7. Kirby and the Forgotten Land – 6.46 million
  8. Mario Strikers: Battle League – 2.54 million
  9. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 – 1.86 million
  10. Fire Emblem Engage – 1.61 million (New)
  11. Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe – 1.46 million (New)
  12. Metroid Prime Remastered – 1.09 million (New)
  13. Bayonetta 3 – 1.07 million

More than 1036.15 million Switch games have been sold worldwide.
