Flavors are enhanced while eating and drinking in an airplane due to the combination of lower air pressure and humidity and with this in mind, Alaska Airlines and Stumptown Coffee Roasters created a custom coffee blend that’s optimized for inflight enjoyment.
This Stumptown coffee, created specifically to be enjoyed up in the air, was made to be a crowd-pleasing brew to appease those who gravitate toward milder coffees, as well as those who appreciate medium-bodied roasts. According to the collaborating companies, “Alaska’s medium-dark blend uses the same clean and sweet base as Holler Mountain, but with a primary focus on a roast that mellows acidity and introduces just enough toastiness to please a wide range of palates.”
