Birdie Indoor Air Monitor

birdie indoor air monitor

Now renamed Birdie, the Denmark-based design lets you know when to ventilate your home without the use of annoying light, sound or phone notifications. An invention designed to alert you to poor air quality indoors which increases the risk of asthma, headache, fatigue and sleep disorders.

Airing out your home regularly will improve your well-being, sleep and overall health. By using a CO2-Sensor, Birdie® will monitor the air quality. When the air quality is poor the little yellow Birdie® will drop down, until you open the window to bring it back to life.

They’ve also issued a limited edition in Hot Pink. They call it ‘Plastic Fantastic’ since it’s made of 100% recycled plastic. Just like Barbie, plastic is sometimes misunderstood but can actually be fantastic when produced and used the right way.
